3D Renderings

Our clients love being able to see a preview of their home with our state of the art 3D rendering system. This brings the project to life and also aids in selecting some of the finishes, light fixtures and more. The renderings also help ensure the client, our team and the trade partners are all on the same page on how the end product will look and feel. We attribute much of our customer satisfaction to this step in the process.

Our Process


We pride ourselves in making the renovation process seamless and stress free for our clients. If you are thinking about remodeling your home in the Destin or 30A areas, we’ve provided an outline below to walk you through the process, step by step.


Initial Call :

We hold an initial call to briefly discuss your project at a high level. We will gather some info and request photos of your space. Here are a few topics we discuss on our initial call.


Probable Cost Opinion (PCO):

Once info is gathered, you will receive a rough estimate for your project based on your desired scope of work. Please note, this is not a formal proposal and does NOT typically include specific selections.


Design & Project Development Agreement:

If the rough estimate is within your budget and you would like to move forward, you’ll receive a Design and Project Development Agreement to get started.


The design agreement includes:

  • On-Site Measurement & Planning Meeting – This includes discussion with owners on project expectations, providing general design ideas, and taking photos and measurements.
  • Initial Design Concepts – We create professional 3D Conceptual Design renderings for new proposed Design/Layout.
  • Finalize Design, Scope of Work, Selections, & Provide Proposal
  • Ideally 90% of the decisions are made in this phase. The more decisions made up front the better for both parties, in terms of cost and planning.


Remodeling Contract:

Next, a construction contract will be formally signed, deposit will be collected, and the work will be scheduled.


Remodel:

Now the fun begins! This phase includes all production from pre-construction meetings to final walkthrough.

We have been remodeling our home several times over the last 3 years from a new laundry room, an extended driveway and two bathrooms. When we started our kitchen remodel we were nervous from past experience. This was our first experience with Revive and Jake Armstrong. They surpassed all of our worries and eliminated much of the issues we had experienced in the past. Jake keep us updated weekly on progress and also let us know what the plan was for the following week. As in the past we experienced hollow promises and meaningless updates. Revive not only showed up and did the work as promised and planned but surpassed expectations by exceeding planned improvements and progress. With the issues around Covid and supply chain, Revive often had to replan or make last minute changes which not only kept the remodel moving forward but kept us informed also. Our kitchen remodel was functional before Christmas as promised and there was never a time that I was misinformed or not updated with changes as the remodel progressed. We are so grateful for the guys who work for Revive and can not thank Jake enough for making our kitchen remodel as painless and beautiful as possible. We have already engaged with them for our last bathroom addition planned for the coming fall.

    Yes, we are a State of Florida Certified General Contractor and fully insured. Our team of skilled professionals are trained to handle all aspects of residential remodeling projects.

  • How long do projects take?

    The duration of the remodeling project varies depending on the size, complexity, and scope of work involved. We will provide you with a realistic timeline taking into account factors such as permits, material availability, and extent of the project. For example, we can do a kitchen remodel in 8-10 weeks. Larger whole house/condo renovations can take 6 months – 1 year. Design work can take up to a couple of months before we even start production.

  • What is your timeframe to start?

    Varies on size of the project and our current workload. It can be anywhere between 3-6 months. We can begin design work during the waiting period.

    Jake has been in the construction industry since 2012. He started RP in 2015 originally to flip houses. In 2016, he decided to start taking on clients and became a licensed contractor. Since being a licensed contractor, Jake has renovated hundreds of properties. His 10+ years of experience allows us to deliver high quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

  • Can you provide references or examples of your previous work?

    Absolutely. We take pride in our past projects and can provide references. We also have a portfolio of some of our completed projects showcasing our expertise. In some cases, we can even visit previous projects in person to see a past project up close.

    We accept cash, check, or wire transfer. We require a deposit and lay out a draw schedule based on construction progress. Our team will provide you with clear payment terms before starting the project.
