  • Are you licensed and insured?

    Yes, we are a State of Florida Certified General Contractor and fully insured. Our team of skilled professionals are trained to handle all aspects of residential remodeling projects.

  • How long do projects take?

    The duration of the remodeling project varies depending on the size, complexity, and scope of work involved. We will provide you with a realistic timeline taking into account factors such as permits, material availability, and extent of the project. For example, we can do a kitchen remodel in 8-10 weeks. Larger whole house/condo renovations can take 6 months – 1 year. Design work can take up to a couple of months before we even start production.

  • What is your timeframe to start?

    Varies on size of the project and our current workload. It can be anywhere between 3-6 months. We can begin design work during the waiting period.

  • What is your service area?

    Currently, we are serving the Destin and 30A areas, including Sandestin, Miramar Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Blue Mountain Beach, Grayton Beach, Watercolor, Seaside, Seagrove, Watersound, Seacrest Beach, Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach. See some of the homes we have renovated here. 

  • How long have you been in business?

    Jake has been in the construction industry since 2012. He started RP in 2015 originally to flip houses. In 2016, he decided to start taking on clients and became a licensed contractor. Since being a licensed contractor, Jake has renovated hundreds of properties. His 10+ years of experience allows us to deliver high quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

  • Can you provide references or examples of your previous work?

    Absolutely. We take pride in our past projects and can provide references. We also have a portfolio of some of our completed projects showcasing our expertise. In some cases, we can even visit previous projects in person to see a past project up close.

  • How do I get started with my remodeling project?

    Getting started is easy! Simply contact us through our website and our friendly team will schedule a call to discuss your project.

  • Do you provide free estimates?

    Yes, we offer free ballpark price ranges. If our price is in line with your budget, we will provide a detailed estimate outlining the scope or work and associated costs. See more about our process here.

    Absolutely! We have a team of talented designers who can assist you in creating a functional and aesthetically pleasing space to fit your vision. We can also help you choose the materials, finishes, and fixtures to suit your style and budget.

  • Do you handle all aspects of the remodeling process including obtaining necessary permits?

    Yes, we take care of the entire remodeling process from beginning to end including obtaining necessary permits. Our team will ensure that all work performed is up to the National Association of Home Builders Residential Construction Performance Guidelines.

  • How do I communicate with your team during the remodeling process?

    We maintain open lines of communication throughout the remodeling process. We make sure we inform our clients on a weekly basis using text messages, email, phone calls, and/or facetime. You will have access to both Jake (owner/GC) and a project manager at all times to discuss progress, any concerns, and answer any questions.

  • How do I budget for my remodeling project?

    We understand that budgeting is an important aspect of any remodeling project. We will discuss your budget and provide options and recommendations to achieve your desired results within your financial parameters.

  • Can you work with my existing design ideas or architectural plans?

    Absolutely. We are flexible and can work with your existing design ideas or architectural plans. Our team will collaborate with you to ensure that your vision is brought to life while providing professional guidance and expertise.

  • Will I need to find and hire subcontractors, or will you handle that?

    As a full-service remodeling company, we handle all aspects of the project, including subcontractors or trade partners.  We have a trusted network of skilled trade partners who work under our supervision, ensuring a seamless and coordinated remodeling process.

  • How do you ensure the safety of my property throughout the remodeling process?

    We prioritize the safety of your property throughout the remodeling process. We take necessary precautions to protect your belongings and minimize any potential damage. Our team will cover and secure the work area, use dust barriers, and employ safe construction practices. We can also arrange movers and store furniture in storage units if necessary.

  • What payment options do you offer?

    We accept cash, check, or wire transfer. We require a deposit and lay out a draw schedule based on construction progress. Our team will provide you with clear payment terms before starting the project.

  • What happens if I want to make changes to the project after it has started?

    We understand that adjustments and changes may arise during the remodeling process. We will work closely with you to accommodate reasonable changes. Depending on the scope of the change, we will provide you with a change order that includes description and price to be signed before beginning the new work. Change orders typically result in a longer timeline.

  • What happens if there are issues or concerns after the project is completed?

    Providing an excellent remodeling experience is our top priority. In the unlikely event that any issues arise after the project is completed, we offer post-project support and follow up. Simply contact us and we will address your concerns promptly and work to resolve any issues to your satisfaction.

  • How do you handle unforeseen issues or complications that may arise during the remodeling project?

    Our team is experienced in dealing with unexpected challenges that may arise during a remodeling project. If any unforeseen complications arise, we will communicate them to you promptly, discuss possible solutions, and proceed with your approval.

  • Will I need to vacate my home during the remodeling process?

    The need to vacate your home during remodeling depends on the scope and nature of the project. In some cases, you can still reside in your home during the remodeling process. However, if the project involves major renovations or poses safety concerns, we will discuss alternative living arrangements with you.

  • How do you ensure quality control throughout the remodeling process?

    Quality control is a top priority for us. We have a dedicated team that conducts regular inspections at various stages of the project to ensure that the work meets our high standards. We also maintain open communication with you to address any concerns and ensure your satisfaction.
